Verenigd Onder Studentenbelang (V.O.S.) is de studentenpartij die in de Universitaire Studentenraad (USR) zit en de koepelverenigingen van de Radboud Universiteit vertegenwoordigt: SOFv, NSSR, CODC, B.O.S. en CSN. V.O.S. is opgericht vanuit de overtuiging dat een actief studentenleven essentieel is voor de universiteit, en dat samenwerking tussen sociale, culturele, sport-, studie- en religieuze organisaties de studentenvertegenwoordiging versterkt en inclusiever maakt.
Via V.O.S. werken de koepelverenigingen samen om ervoor te zorgen dat de belangen van actieve studenten worden behartigd. Bestuursleden van elke koepelvereniging dragen bij aan de campagne. De Politiek Commissarissen van de koepelverenigingen nemen daarnaast deel aan fractievergaderingen, waar ze actuele onderwerpen bespreken, input uit de verenigingen delen en bepalen welke standpunten en acties ze meenemen richting de USR.
V.O.S. streeft onder andere naar betere toegankelijkheid van sport- en culturele voorzieningen en eerlijke erkenning voor studentbestuurders. Daarnaast wil de partij meer flexibiliteit rondom studeren, zodat studenten studie en andere verplichtingen beter kunnen combineren. Wat V.O.S. onderscheidt van andere studentenpartijen, is dat de partij nauw verbonden blijft met studenten door feedback te verzamelen van de leden van de koepelverenigingen. Deze input vormt de basis voor de standpunten en initiatieven van V.O.S. in de Universitaire Studentenraad (USR) en zorgt ervoor dat het beleid van de partij aansluit bij de werkelijke behoeften van actieve studenten en bijdraagt aan betekenisvolle veranderingen op de campus.
Verenigd Onder Studentenbelang (V.O.S.) is the student party represented in the University Student Council (USC) that advocates on behalf of the umbrella associations of Radboud University: SOFv, NSSR, CODC, B.O.S. and CSN. V.O.S. was founded on the belief that an active student life is essential to the university, and that cooperation between social, cultural, sports-, study- and religious organisations strengthens student representation and makes it more inclusive.
Through V.O.S., the umbrella associations collaborate to ensure that the interests of active students are represented. Board members of each umbrella association contribute to the party’s campaign. The Political Chairs also participate in faction meetings, where they discuss current topics, share input gathered from the associations, and determine which positions and actions to take forward to the USC.
V.O.S. strives for, among other things, better accessibility to sports and cultural facilities and fair recognition for student board members. In addition, the party advocates for more flexibility in studying, so that students can better combine their studies with other responsibilities. What distinguishes V.O.S. from other student parties is that it remains closely connected to students by actively collecting feedback from members of the umbrella associations. This input forms the foundation for the positions and initiatives of V.O.S. within the University Student Council (USC) and ensures that its policies align with the real needs of active students and contribute to meaningful changes on campus.
Politiek functionaris CSN in USR
Tijdens het collegejaar 2025-2026 neemt Marcus de Rooij plaats in de USR. Daar vertegenwoordigt hij de christelijke belangen die aangesloten zijn bij de vijf christelijke verenigingen in diverse werkgroepen en commissies.
